There are many, many items in Aion. At the beginning your most used ones are going to be Bandages, as they heal you.

You are also able to use "Power Shards," to increase your attack power. These are highly expensive (at least in the beginning) and do not add very much to your attack power. If you are re-rolling a new alternate character, however, you most likely already have the funds to purchase these.

To use Power Shards you must first equip them to your weapon(s). When it comes to these, they are not automatically shared between dual weapons, so if you are holding two you must open your character screen (press P) and then drag them to the top right of your left weapon and top left of your right weapon. When these are there they are equipped. Next, you must press B to activate them. You can turn these on and off as you wish just by pressing B. These are especially useful in situations where you have issues killing hard mobs, but try not to "spam" them until you have enough Kinah to withstand the monetary hit.
