Blacksmith Profession 1-450

World of Warcraft Blacksmithing is best paired with Mining, enabling you to mine much of the materials that you

will need for your Blacksmith. If you have enough income to allow you to simply buy your materials from other

players then you can replace mining with another profession.

This guide will show you the quickest, cheapest, easiest abundant materials in auction house and best of all, the

reagent efficiency ways to level Blacksmithing skill level 1-450.

And the most important of all, most of the reagents were available when my friends and I made the guide. Perhaps

the WoW economy was great then and because of that, we didn't have a hard time looking for reagents. You may have

to farm from time to time in order to get enough reagents for certain skills.

Blacksmithing Profession

Blacksmithing skill 1-25
Make Rough Sharpening Stones (1 x Rough Stone) x 50

Sharpening stones are very cheap and easy to obtain in the early level of blacksmithing profession.

Blacksmithing skill 25-45
Make Rough Grinding Stones (2 x Rough Stone) x 20

Rouge Grinding Stone is also very cheap and easy to obtain through the auction house.

Blacksmithing skill 45-75
Make Copper Chain Belt (6 x Copper Bar) x 30

Copper Bar is the lowest level from mining profession, therefore, it's another easy way to level your blackmithing.

Make Coarse Grinding Stones (2 x Coarse Stones) x 10

More stones to be made...

Blacksmithing skill 80-100
Make Runed Copper Belt (10 x Copper Bar) x 20

Blacksmithing skill 100-105
Make Silver Rod (1 x Silver Bar, 2 x Rough Grinding Stone) x 5

These you can create and sell on the Auction house to starting enchanters, as they are always in need.

Blacksmithing skill 105-125
Make Rough Bronze Leggings (6 x Bronze Bar) x 20

Not very useful, but very cheap to make. Just turn then around and vendor them.

Blacksmithing skill 125-137
Make Heavy Grinding Stone (3 x Heavy Stone) x 50

More stone items again. Save these for making other items as you skill up or create items to use, such as the

Shining Silver Breastplate.

Make Silvered Bronze Boots

Blacksmithing skill 150-155
Make Golden Rod (1 x Gold Bar, 2 x Coarse Grinding Stone) x 5

Here is another enchanter item, this time the next rod they need while leveling. Again, this item sells nicely on

the auction house and is usually in demand.

Make Green Iron Leggings (8 x Iron Bar, 1 x Heavy Grinding Stone, 1 x Green Dye) x 10

A very cheap item to make, and good for 15 skill points! Keep them going.

Make Green Iron Bracers (6 x Iron Bar, 1 x Green Dye) x 20

Blacksmithing skill 185-200
Make Golden Scale Bracers (5 x Steel Bar, 2 x Heavy Grinding Stone) x 15

The first steel item that you are likely to make, and good for a pretty cheap 15 skill points.

Blacksmithing skill 200-210
Make Solid Grinding Stone (4 x Solid Stone) x 20

Stone items are very good because they are fairly cheap in the auction house.

Blacksmithing skill 210-215
Make Golden Scale Bracers (5 x Steel Bar, 2 x Heavy Grinding Stone) x 5

Another very cheap item to make, however it only provides reliable skill ups for 5 skill points.

Make Steel Plate Helm (14 x Steel Bar, 1 x Solid Grinding Stone) x 20

While expensive in steel, the lack of other ingredients make this an ideal leveling item.

Make Mithril Coif (10 x Mithril Bar, 6 x Mageweave Cloth) x 15

Blacksmithing skill 250-260
Make Dense Sharpening Stone (1 x Dense Stone) x 20

Back to stones for a quick and very cheap 10 skill points!

Blacksmithing skill 260-275

Armorsmiths: Make Earthforged Leggings (16 x Mithril Bar, 2 x Core of Earth) x 10

Weaponsmiths: Make Light Earthforged Blade (12 x Mithril Bar, 4 x Core of Earth) x 10

OR

Make Light Emberforged Hammer (12 x Mithril Bar, 4 x Heart of Fire) x 10

OR

Make Light Skyforged Axe (12 x Mithril Bar, 4 x Breath of Wind) x 10

Blacksmithing skill 275-295
Make Imperial Plate Bracers (12 x Thorium Bar) x 25

Thorium items are very pricey in the auction house, and here is where things start to go up drastically in price

compared to previous items that you made.

Make Imperial Plate Boots (18 x Thorium Bar) x 5

They take 6 more Thorium per item than the Bracers. As long as your still getting points from the Bracers reliably,

make them.
